Having completed a degree in Leisure Studies in the UK, Ruth spent over 13 years working on several different continents, including 9 years in Rome, Italy. Her passion for travel took her to Sicily where it was love at first sight.
Melania Siriu - Client Manager
After obtaining her degree in Foreign Languages from Perugia University, Melania moved to London. Her wonderful memories of a childhood holiday in Sicily meant that when she saw a job advertised at thinkSicily she wrote off immediately!

After graduating in European Tourism, Anna immediately started working in the travel industry, where she has held a variety of roles. Her passion for travelling has taken her all around the world including, of course, Sicily!

Renata was born in Italy where she graduated in Foreign Languages. After her graduation she decided to move to London where she has been living for almost seven years. Before joining thinkSicily she completed a diploma in interpreting.

Rosanna was born in Italy and moved to London to study International Studies. She has always wanted to work in the travel industry and her job at thinkSicily enables her to combine both her love of Italy and her passion for tourism.
Rossella Beaugie - Founder & Managing Director
Rossella, who is Sicilian, has a PhD in cell biology from the University of Paris. She has worked in Barcelona, San Francisco and Paris and has travelled widely. Her heart never left Sicily though, and with thinkSicily she is using all her passion for Sicily.
Huw Beaugie - Founder & Managing Director
Huw, who is British, has a degree in engineering and an MBA. He worked in Italy managing vehicle engine installation projects on 3 continents before moving to Paris as a European marketing manager for an eyewear company. He started thinkSicily with Rossella in 2002.
Sian Chadwick - Finance and HR Director
Sian is our Finance Director and Huw’s sister. She qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 with Ernst & Young in London and then spent several years working in the finance team at GlaxoSmithKline before joining the thinkSicily team.
Max Lane - Local Manager, Western Sicily and Publications Manager
After graduating in Musicology at London University, Max spent 12 years as a teacher and translator in Poland, Egypt and Italy. He is based in Palermo, where he has lived for 10 years. He will be your contact in western Sicily.
Ornella Agati - Local Manager, Eastern Sicily
Ornella is from Catania. After graduating in Foreign Languages, she moved to London and worked for a UK tour operator for five years. She has travelled extensively but Sicily is still her favourite place! She will be your contact if you stay in the east.

Federica, like Ornella, is from Catania. She has several years experience in the world of quality villa rental as well as working as a lifestyle journalist. Should you be organising a special event while in Sicily, Federica will see to it that everything runs smoothly.
